Beautiful Jordan. I could stop there and it would describe her completely! She’s truly beautiful inside and out and I loved photographing her!  Jordan chose the Style Session (make up by Sara Williams) and her skin looked flawless. She has amazing and beautiful eyes and I knew I would be capturing them as a focal point in many of the images were would be creating this day.

She came with lots of clothing choices and her colors were amazing. I especially loved the sunflower camisole and chose to photograph it in the “forest” near our studio. Okay it’s not REALLY a forest but we photograph it as such. And the colors from her cami really stood out in that lighting!

Who can resist an adorable doggie? Peaches was the focus of a few shots and I have to say—she photographed like a toy dog! Adorable and cooperative are 2 words I love when describing any dog I photograph and Peaches fit the bill! The image below was one of their favorites.

And as a side note—have you ever had that sick feeling you get when lock a door and realize you don’t have the keys? Why yes, yes I did just that during this session. I locked my keys in the studio (we were outSIDE of the studio!) after our last shoot-sequence! But—it was a blessing in disguise because as we waited for my oh-so-wonderful husband to come recue us with a duplicate key, I glanced over and saw Jordan’s mom standing next to her in the most beautiful sunlight ever. With just a tweak here and there and a pop of reflective light, we created the most beautiful mother-daughter image ever. And when MOM loves it, it makes my day. Yes, we moms can be hard on ourselves in photos, so my goal is to create a gorgeous and lasting image of mother and daughter that even mom will love and cherish forever.

Jordan graduated in the Class of 2013 from Granite Bay High School and is off to college soon! Congrats to her and I know she’ll succeed in anything she does.
