I’ve been photographing child models for over 8 years and I can tell you that in all of my experience shooting modeling portfolios, I have never seen two more photogenic and photo-graphable (is that a word? if it isn’t, it is now) kids than these two 4 year old twins! To say they are photogenic is an understatement, because these 2 kids have so much personality that the camera simply exploded with their bubbly laughs, their silly looks and their amazing expressions.

Being photogenic is one thing; being photogenic AND easy to photograph and capture is another. With children, it can be challenging because, well, kids are kids and when they are between 2 and 5 you sometimes don’t know how the photo session is going to go. It really does take patience and determination to capture the “essence” of childhood. As a photographer, it means “going with the flow” and thinking of the photo shoot more like a “play date” than a professional appointment.

I can tell you that from the moment London and Katana walked through the door I simply KNEW this was going to be a fabulous session. They have bubbly personalities, poise, manners AND infectious laughs. Tori (my daugher and assistant for the day) and I were laughing from the minute we met them. They laugh, and the world laughs with them!

It’s been a whirlwind for mom and dad and these spunky twinsies. They won a local photo-contest here in Sacramento and the next thing they knew, they were being pursued by an agent to get signed. I have no doubt that these 2 adorable girls are going to be seen in brand-name print ads and/or commercials very soon.  Word spreads quickly within the industry when talent springs up—and agencies love adorable, cute, photogenic kids but even MORE, they love when personality translates through the camera. See for yourself. These girls have what it takes. I can’t wait to see where this fun adventure leads them.
