This photo session was an artistic and amazing experience for me—every element that could be perfect, WAS. I’m asked quite often where my “favorite” location is to shoot (we have many locations to offer in and around Sacramento including country fields as well as urban areas). The answer is…YOUR home/property. Why? Because it’s truly the most unique area around. NOBODY else can duplicate YOUR images or setting!

Cassi’s senior session was at her home—a gorgeous custom “Tuscan Villa” home with beautiful photo opportunities EVERYWHERE. Of course, lighting trumps location every time, so the first priorities were to hunt for the great lighting and place my beautiful subject in that lighting with elements and “pieces” of the gorgeous surroundings I had available to work with.

Cassi (her full name is Cassandra—which is as beautiful as she is) has an amazing sense of style and had some fabulous outfits/accessories and shoes picked out when I arrived. She also chose the STYLE SESSION with makeup done by our on-location makeup artist, Sara W. Cassi has an amazingly photogenic look—and she can show a classic side as well as a fun and trendy side.
