Rockin’ it…

Can I brag? MY SON IS SO COOL. I say that with the modest tone possible. Because truly…my son is one cool dude. And I mean that in many ways and on many levels. If I wasn’t his mom…I would still be impressed with this guy.

He loves God with all of his heart and is very secure and confident in his beliefs to shout from the rooftops. He doesn’t care if he is the only one shouting. He doesn’ t care if what he believes makes him unpopular. He stands on the Word of God and the Word of God alone. That makes him cool.

He is also very talented musically. He wants to be a musician…either in church (perhaps in ministry) or in contemporary christian music. He sings…he plays guitar…he plays sax…oh…and he plays harmonica. And he plays to the glory of God. That makes him cool.

He also makes a mean smoothie. Cool…told ya.

We took him out for a pro-photo session a couple of months ago right before he got his braces on…since his sister will be debuted on the websites and blog soon for being one of our 2011 Senior Spokesmodels in a few days (I’m in denial that my baby girl is going to be  a senior), I thought we’d give Jordan his own special feature here now…because after all, the kid is cool.

SHELBY Class of 2010

Meet Shelby—this was seriously a fun and fabulous session. Shelby and her mom had a vision and we fused it together with a combination of fabulous makeup, our location-stylist for hair changes (the wonderful SaraW.), Shelby’s fabulous taste in clothes, some vintage street rods, an old-town location plus Shelby’s home which was the perfect country setting to end the session at.

Her eyes are gorgeous…and I always say: pretty girl + pretty eyes + great light + reflector = magic…it’s what we do! :)

So here are some of my faves from her session…just to name a few.

MALLORY Class of 2010!

We’re still busy photographing 2010 seniors and have lots more to share this month! Sharing a few photos from Mallory’s senior session—a very FUN and FABULOUS session! She chose the STYLE SESSION with Sara as the always-fashionable make-up artist/stylist. Sara started out with a soft look both with make-up and soft curls…then did a more smokey-eye with straight hair.

We photographed Mallory’s sister, Alexis, last year and had a great time photographing Mallory…who graduates in a few short weeks! She knew exactly what she wanted for her session and we chose a location that offered both unique textures/backgrounds as well as a more natural area for some outdoor shots.

Here are some sneak peeks—with

JEN 2010 | sacramento senior photographers

JEN is just weeks away from graduation! This was a fun session—Jen has great style and LOVES shoes! She had the most adorable shoes and clothes. Matching backgrounds and textures was a breeze because she put everything together so well. And she has the most stunningly-photogenic eyes!

I’ve been battling laryngitis the past few weeks and Jen was such a good sport during her session–I literally had no speaking voice and had to whisper to her the entire time! She caught on to my body language and flailing arm directions pretty quickly! Thanks so much for a fun day, Jen.

Here are a few sneak peeks from the day plus
