Baby Ryleigh | Sacramento Baby Photography

She’s heeeeeeere! Baby Ryleigh arrived right on time—or should I say—ahead of time! Proud mama and papa were very happy and they seemed surprisingly rested and full of energy the day I arrived. Ryleigh was not too sleepy…day 4 in the world and she was quite wide akake but we managed to get a few with her “sleepy heavy lids” towards the end of the session.

I’m excited to see her grow—we will be photographing her next two big milestones in life soon: sitting around 6 months and walking around one year! Watch for this adorable little one to sprout here wings soon…

Here are a few from the newborn session:

BABY CHARLIE-sacramento newborn photographers

MEET CHARLIE!

He’s adorable—and super cuddly! The day I photographed Charlie he was perfectly sleepy and mom and dad were perfectly in love with him…he had only been home from the hospital for a few days. The home was super warm just for little Charlie—never mind that the rest of us were sweating bullets—little Charlie was snug as a bug in a rug! Which made it all worth it!

Photographing newborns makes me smile—and almost want another baby! But I get my fix during the time that I spend with them and then I’m all better LOL! I always have a special basket in tow…this day was no different.

So without further delay…here’s CHARLIE:

BABY ZOEY | sacramento baby photographer

I’m back! I was away for my nephew’s high school gradutaion in Montana and came back to (fabulous) madness trying to catch up! Watch for some wonderful Montana photos of my sister’s family coming up soon—in the meantime, let me  introduce BABY ZOEY. She’s adorable and she’s new. Mommy and Daddy are proud parents of this teeny-tiny bundle—as well they should be!

I LOVE doing newborn sessions…and in 17 years I’ll be thrilled to be posting her senior portraits :) but for now, meet her in all of her glorious baby-hood:

The ART of babyhood | sacramento baby photographer

I’ve been absent from blogging the past few weeks (blame it on FACEBOOK!)—and I have lots of fabulous sessions to share. Watch for lots of senior posts coming up, an engagement (ahhh, love), some baby-bellies and newborns and lots of kids/families! We’ve been BUSY since returning from SPA in Vegas and it’s been great! Our clients know that even in a challenging economy, investing in portraits is an investment in family memories and important keepsakes and…it MATTERS.

We delivered one of our Custom ARTbooks to the mom and dad of this beautiful newborn not too long ago. Below are some photos showcasing this beautifully crafted book-bound album, complete with an upscale dustcover. When selecting the products that we offer, quality and craftmanship is important to us…and this upscale art book does not disappoint.

Also shown is one of our small ARTcollection Storyboards.  We have 5 other (much larger) art collage pieces that we’re introcuding for 2009 in our ARTwalls ranging in size from 16×20 to 30×30—I love the new modern design of our larger pieces!

Well, here she is, Miss Alexa:

O Baby. (and little sis).

Winter time is a baby time. Lots of babies are asking to have their portraits taken. Babies are just so demading, aren’t they? So how could I resist such a demand. I caved. And this little one captured my heart the moment I met him. So his demands became music to my ears.

And big sis was pretty adorable too. Seemed like yesterday that I took her baby photos. Sigh. How time flies.

Oh…and the nursery. Mom really knows her stuff with decorating. The only other nursery that was cuter was big sis’ nursery a couple of years ago.
